Recladding
Recladding your home to give it a fresh and solid new look and increase its value is easy with Hebel® Panels.
Existing lightweight cladding such as weatherboard, fibre cement or vinyl siding can be simply removed and replaced with Hebel® Panels, usually without footing modifications. It is strongly recommended that you seek expert advice from a consulting structural engineer on the condition of the piers and footings for your reclad.
Hebel® Panels can be cut on site to fit and fix to the existing structure, providing the frame is still sound, with the minimum of fuss and at a considerable saving to traditional brickwork.
Because the Hebel® panels are thicker than standard cladding materials, the windows will need to be fitted with storm moulds or be located outwards with reveals installed. Or this could be your opportunity to install new windows to complete the transformation of your home. It's also a good idea to check there is sufficient eaves overhang to cover the new wall.
Once installed, rendered and painted you'll have a fabulous looking home with all the energy efficiency and noise reduction benefits of Hebel®.
